Jonathan Leakey is the son of Anglican missionaries to East Africa. His Christian faith inspired the launch, in 2010, of the inter-denominational Ballymena House of Prayer which he has led since the start. He is also involved in the Ireland-wide prayer movement: Transformations-Ireland, and in leading two other collaborative, joint-churches ministries in the town of Ballymena: Healing on the Streets and Without Walls.
