In the context of the 2025 German Bishops’ document “Caring for the Elderly – Pastoral Care for the Elderly as an Answer to the Challenges of an Aging Society”, published in January of this year,1 I would like to present in this article a creative impulse for the further development of pastoral care for the elderly through a careful reflection on “Wisdom in Old Age.”
