When Father George Johnson set off for Germany hardly anybody
knew of his mission. He was an indefatigable and stubborn priest,
and it is not impossible that even his bishop didn’t know what
he was up to. But Father Johnson was going to see one of his
parishioners, with an urgent request for help.
