Last year during the Fleadh Cheoil 2024, which was held in Wexford town, I volunteered to be part of the welcome team in the Wexford Parish ‘Tent of Meeting’, located beside the Church of the Immaculate Conception on Rowe Street. A few of the volunteers daily provided a range of fresh bakes and soft drinks for visitors. There was also a table of devotional items, a guided Camino route and prayer cards that visitors could freely take as well as blank cards for visitors to write their intentions for daily Mass.
